Arrival in Casablanca
Upon arrival at the hotel from the airport, an informative dinner-time meeting will take place, followed by a tour of the city, which will include a visit to the imposing mosque of Hassan II.
Fez
Breakfast will be followed by a tour of the oldest and most distinguished cities in Morocco. Each of the city’s three districts represents a different epoch, transporting the visitor to an earlier time in history. The city was founded in 800 A.D. The tour includes a visits to the famous Karouine-Jamee University, the Mosque, the Medersa Attaryne College, the tomb of Mouly Idriss and the kings’s palace, as well as an observation of the Souks and a stop at the craftsman’s quarter (tannery and blacksmith’s shop).
Desert Experience
Includes a sunrise or sunset camel ride in the dunes, a drive around the Erg Chebis in a Landrover, and visits to the Gnaoui Tribe, descendants of the black Africans. Break for picnic lunch in an oasis with palm trees followed by a trip to the Black Hills of the coal mines, and a visit to the nomadic Tuareg tribe, who still carry on their age-old traditions while living in the desert.
Todgha Valley
The journey commences through the famous routes of the Kasbah, and enters the impressive Todgha Valley in the afternoon.
Kasbah Ait Benhadou
The journey passes over the Atlas mountain range, and includes several stops along the way for taking in the magnificent view. In the afternoon, you will arrive in Ait Benhadou, the oldest continuously inhabited city in the Atlas mountains. Kasbah Ait Benhadou is a world heritage site and often serves as a film location.
Marrakesh
After breakfast, the journey to Marrakesh will ensue, the first destination being the „magic gardens“ (Menerat Gardens) followed by the Bahia, Badia palace, the tombs of Saadier, and the famous plaza Djemna-el-Fna, where gauklers, magicians, snake-charmers and storytellers gather.
